The NDIS Supports Group Activities!

At Mission Possible Care, we proudly share the vision of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): to improve the lives of Australians living with significant and permanent disabilities, as well as support their carers, families, and friends.

As a registered NDIS provider, we’re honoured to be nationally recognised for delivering quality services that make a difference.

Through our group and centre-based activities, we help participants connect with their community, discover opportunities, and take greater control of their NDIS plans. By linking participants and their carers with the most beneficial community resources, we ensure they get the support, understanding, and experiences that truly enhance their quality of life.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is a Group or Centre-Based Activity?
Group and centre-based activities provide support for individuals to participate in community, social, or recreational programs. These may take place in a dedicated centre or within the wider community, helping participants connect, learn, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
Yes. At Mission Possible Care, we provide non-face-to-face supports alongside direct participant care. This can include updating communication books, developing and monitoring care plans, collecting data to review and report progress, as well as researching and planning tailored to each participant’s needs. These behind-the-scenes supports are delivered regularly to ensure the highest quality of care.
Funding for daily activities is available as part of many NDIS support plans. This can cover participation in community, social, economic, and everyday life activities. Additionally, occupational assistance may be included to help participants find or maintain work, whether in open employment or supported workplaces.
Yes. While providers are not directly funded for Support Coordination, participants can choose to have their Support Coordination managed by the NDIS (Agency-Managed), by a registered Plan Manager (Plan-Managed), or take control themselves (Self-Managed).
